Who we are
Treasure Valley Scoop is edited by Brandon Nicholas. Each Thursday issue covers what's opening, what's changing and what to do in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Eagle and nearby towns, plus deals from local businesses for our readers.
How an issue is made
We gather public local news, city notices and event listings. We sort and summarize them in plain English. Our editor, Brandon Nicholas, checks every item and approves the issue before it's published. Every item links its original source.
Photos
We use photos from local businesses with their permission, or openly licensed file photos with credit. File photos are labeled so they aren't mistaken for the business itself.
Directory and deals
Directory listings start from public business information and are free. Businesses can claim their listing to correct it or add a deal for Scoop readers.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it on the site and note it in the next issue when it matters.
